Atlanta Motorsports Park (AMP) was honored to serve as the venue sponsor for the 19th Annual Rides to Remember, a profoundly heartwarming charity track day presented by Ferrari of Atlanta. This year, our world-class track was transformed into a playground of high-speed thrills and unforgettable moments for over 300 pediatric cancer patients and their families.
A Day of Thrills and Compassion
The annual Rides to Remember event is a powerful demonstration of how the passion for performance can make a profound difference. As the host venue, we watched as more than 100 generous luxury sports car owners, showcasing vehicles collectively valued at more than $40 million, volunteered their time and their supercars. These incredible volunteers took the children on exhilarating, safe rides around the AMP 2-mile road course circuit, creating moments of pure joy and inspiration.
This special day offers a welcome escape for families facing unimaginable challenges. The opportunity for these brave young patients to feel the thrill of a performance car and experience the excitement of the track is a powerful form of therapy and memory-making.
Beyond the Hot Laps: Community and Activities
While the high-speed track rides are the main attraction, Rides to Remember provided a full day of entertainment designed to delight children of all ages. Guests enjoyed a lively atmosphere complete with a DJ, face painting and hair coloring stations, a “make and take” model car workshop provided by the Savoy Automobile Museum, a fun photo booth by Elite Memories Events, and an immersive virtual reality experience courtesy of XR DOJO.
