Kart Track - Cashier/Hostess

Want to work at a race track in a fast paced fun environment? Atlanta Motorsports Park is looking for a bright, cheerful person that will greet our members and customers in a world class clubhouse. This person interacts with our members and clients helping them choose which offerings we have that fit their needs. They solve the challenges that come forward with our corporate clients, hosting them which makes it always fresh and interesting. The position can be someone with a lot of heart ready to learn, or someone who has been there done that and wants a fun cool position within the company.

We have a part-time opening for a Cashier/Host in our Kart Racing Building.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet our customers and assist them in understanding our Club, offerings, pricing, and specials.
  • Serve as front line concierge for our members and guests
  • Process customer payments. This includes receiving correct payments, managing cash drawer, processing cash drawer, and credit card transactions, and return appropriate change.
  • Apply knowledge of company products and services to assist customers with purchases. Efficiently process customer information and respond to inquiries and complaints in a diplomatic manner.
  • Maintain our facility and cleanliness as per our standards.
  • Proper and timely answering, screening, directing, and handling of phone calls.

Kart Track - Race Shop Mechanic

Job Overview:

AMP Kart Racing is seeking a skillful and experienced kart tuner and kart racing mechanic to work in our race kart workshop. This position reports to the Parts & Services Manager and includes evening and weekend work – weekend availability is a must, as these are the peak hours for our member services and kart racing business.

We are looking for a process-driven multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude who will drive efficiency at all levels within the race kart workshop. You will need to be an adaptable team player ready to find solutions and help improve processes. Sales skills and customer billing procedures are essential in this role for the ideal candidate.

A lead mechanic and supervisor role are also an option for the right candidate – this would only be available to someone with the relative experience in both mechanical skills and training, and also in supervision and management of staff.

Compensation: Flat rate, rates are negotiable

Job Description & Duties

  • Be knowledgeable and experienced in race kart servicing and race kart tuning per manufacturer training and specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance including racking and un-racking of race karts, test and inspect engines, locate malfunctioning and broken parts, verify repairs using diagnostic instruments
  • Maintain constant communication with service writer/parts department regarding work being performed and service items, provide recommendations for potential upgrades and improvements
  • Provide information on new kart part inventory and execute sales to customers for repairs and upgrades, new and used race chassis sales also available
  • Document all maintenance and update service records
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment
  • Must be responsible with company tools & equipment

Kart Track - Rental Kart Mechanic

Kart Track - Sales, Parts, & Service Associate

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have an upbeat attitude and excellent communication skills. We are seeking a sales-oriented individual with a strong work ethic who will lead by example and be a self-starter. This candidate will be an adaptable team player with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of demands in a fast-paced dynamic work environment. Mechanical knowledge is a must for this position as well as a general interest in karting/racing. This person must keep a clean workspace and be responsible with company tools & equipment. The perfect candidate must know proper grammar and be able to complete sentences using correct punctuation and spelling.

Daily activities:

The candidate will be stationed in the race shop where you will have the opportunity to learn everything about karts and karting. Follow-up is crucial to the success of this position, your day to day will include the following:

  • Sell karts to clients and give tours of the building introducing new clients to everyone, fitting clients to the perfect kart for them, supplying clients with information about our programs and academies and reaching out to find new clients, maintain relationships by being honest when mistakes are made and keeping in contact throughout processes by calling and emailing updates
  • Upselling parts & labor by suggesting new or upgraded products and recommended services
  • Manage CRM software and follow-up with leads, host events, manage onsite academies, enter client information into systems using proper grammar and spelling
  • Create and assign service jobs, billing parts & labor, schedule private instructions and concierge racking services, cashing out parts & service invoices
  • Look-up, sell, order, receive and put parts away, bin location, cycle counts, organization of parts room
  • Answer calls & emails promptly, fulfill & ship orders ensuring orders are correct
  • Assist on managing website by adding pictures and keeping product information up to date
