DAWSONVILLE, GA — January 22, 2026— AMP Kart Racing is proud to announce that MG Tires has been selected as the official tire for the 2026 AMP Kart Championship Series. The series will exclusively utilize the MG SH2 (Hard) and MG SM2 (Medium) tire compounds.
Beginning with the 2026 season, AMP Kart Racing will transition back to MG Tires for its championship program. The SH2 and SM2 compounds were chosen for their proven consistency, performance, and durability in high-stakes competitive karting environments.

The shift to MG Tires reflects AMP Kart Racing’s ongoing commitment to elevating the level of competition and maintaining technical fairness, while continuing to support the growth of karting at the facility.
