Erik Evans, driving the #61 Academy Motorsport Mustang, achieved an impressive P2 in the British GT Championship Series race at Silverstone. These results showcase the incredible talent and dedication of these AMP members, who have proven their mettle in highly competitive motorsport events.

Noah Ping of Arden VRD had an outstanding performance at Silverstone in the GB3 Championship, claiming his first victory in the series during the final race of the weekend. Starting in fourth place on the reverse grid, Ping quickly moved up to second at the start and overtook pole sitter Ayato Iwasaki at Brooklands towards the end of the first lap. From there, he pulled away from the pack, finishing over four seconds ahead of teammate Nico Christodoulou, who secured his first podium. Ping’s impressive lead was thanks to a strong opening lap and consistent progress throughout the race. Ping’s performance stood out as a true victory march.

Erik Evans achieved a P3 overall and P2 in class finish in the prestigious British GT Championship race at Silverstone, featuring 43 cars, 24 GT3, and 19 GT4 in a 3-hour multiclass race. Erik started from P11, but with a great start, moved up the pack to P8 and then to P3 in the first 20 minutes. Despite being knocked off track by a GT3 car, Erik managed to recover to P3 before handing over to teammate Matt Cowley. With this podium, Erik and his teammate secured the second spot in the GT4 Championship point standings. The next race will be at Donington Park circuit, where Erik previously competed in his only race of the 2022 season.
