DAWSONVILLE, Ga., June 28, 2023 — Atlanta Motorsports Park, the destination race track and member resort for racing enthusiasts, announces three major updates that are sure to delight its speed-addicted members and visitors. The new Fuel Kitchen Cafe, due to open shop in the karting complex building in August 2023, will provide quick bites as well as a full service bar. Members can also enjoy two new additions to the park’s resort-style amenities: a brand new luxury member lounge, and a viewing deck for catching all the on-track action.

The addition of the Fuel Kitchen Cafe means that everyone from spectators to day racers to event participants to members can stay fueled up throughout their entire stay at AMP. The menu features gastropub style American staples, such as burgers, sandwiches, sides, and bistro-style salads. Patrons can also fill up on signature cocktails, craft beers, and fine wines at the full-service bar — provided they aren’t planning on driving!

Located on the Karting Center’s second floor, the Cafe’s commissary also provides the capability to cater, operate a food truck, and provide other food and drink solutions throughout the grounds. Now that members can own condo housing units on the park’s grounds, the Fuel Cafe provides what AMP COO Jan Stockbridge calls “the final piece to the completed puzzle to really make AMP a destination for motorsports enthusiasts.” She adds that, with the cafe in place as a food and drink solution, members and visitors now have everything they need to comfortably and enjoyably spend their entire day — and night! — on the AMP property.

In addition to hot grub and cool drinks from the cafe, fortunate AMP members can enjoy two new major upgrades: a luxurious member lounge and an expanded member’s-only viewing deck.

Located just at the edge of the debris fence, the deck sits atop the track’s cold and hot pits, ending right at the literal edge of the racing surface, behind a debris fence. AMP’s CEO, Jeremy Porter, added that spectators will be able to feel the wind from the rush of the cars tearing by. Comfortable seating, a fire pit, and plenty of space for gatherings means a whole new way to enjoy events, or even just stays at the park.

The 720 ft2 refurbished member lounge was influenced by high-end, exclusive clubs in metro areas like Buckhead and downtown New York City. Porter stated that the total upgrades for the lounge alone cost $300,000. Leather insert walls, ultra high-end natural wood finishes, and subtle design motifs are accompanied by plush leather seating, a wall of screens for viewing park events or broadcast TV, and a fully stocked bar. Members can even have fresh bites delivered directly from the Fuel Kitchen Cafe!

Since it’s founding ten years ago, Atlanta Motorsports Park has rapidly evolved, improved, and added on enhancements to the experience for both track members and visiting guests, reinvesting year after year to elevate and innovate AMP in industry-setting standards. What began as a world-class formula one track in the heart of historical moonshine country has expanded into a garage complex, over 2.5 acres of paddock space, 20,000 sq ft event spaces in both the conference center and kart clubhouse, and home to over 8 racing-dedicated high-performance vendors. The addition of a kart track, karting center, and dedicated karting garages meant that driver’s could hone their skills on one of the most dynamic and exciting tracks on the planet. The park’s driver training facilities have also been enhanced over time, including last year’s addition of a revamped skid pad with a water distribution system only used by a few testing grounds in the world.

Condos have arrived in the past year, too, breaking ground in 2020, with the first two phases of owners moved in, and more phases on the way. To accommodate the property owning members and their guests, AMP created an outdoor pool and patio area, kids play areas, putting greens,  complete with an outdoor kitchen  and space for hosting gatherings.

Reflecting on the Park’s progression, Porter noted how “the first iteration of the AMP clubhouse contained a lounge and trackside viewing deck, but we knew that as our membership grew, they deserved more space, as well as more comfort. We wanted to seriously enhance what was being offered, crafting a dedicated space exclusively for members — one that couldn’t be rented out for other purposes. It’s a space for them to connect, hang and call their home.”

When it came to the fit and finish of the lounge and deck, Porter stated that “our goal is for members and their guests to be wowed when they walk in.”

The three upgrades cap off what has already become an exciting year of changes for AMP. As it continually evolves, the track and member resort has provided a one-of-a-kind location for adrenaline, creature comforts, and unforgettable experiences, located right in the heart of where American motorsports all began.
