When season 3 of “Cars That Rock” staring AC/DC’s Brian Johnson premieres this fall on Quest TV, some of the scenery may look familiar to Atlanta Motorsports Park members and guests. AMP served as the filming location for several episodes the brand new six part series, which will air on Thursday Sep. 28, 2017 at 9 p.m. on Quest.
Johnson spent several days shooting the show in Dawsonville, along with special guest comedian Ron White. The rock star isn’t the first famous face to visit AMP. In 2017 alone, some of AMP’s notable guests have included NASCAR legend Bill Elliot and the cast and crew of AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire.”
AMP will welcome another familiar face to the track this fall when “Shark Tank”‘ star Robert Herjavec arrives for an VIP Business Brunch on Friday, Nov. 3. Guests will be able to see what happens when the tables turn on entrepreneur Robert Herjavec, Founder and CEO of Herjavec Group when he finds himself in the hot seat answering questions on business trends, entrepreneurship and revealing a few secrets from inside the Shark Tank.
As the film industry continues to boom in Georgia, more famous faces may be headed to Dawsonville soon.
