Race One

With snow flurries in the air, Keegan Hall led the field of eight drivers to green in his Legends car but spun into the gravel at turn one handing the race lead to Blakely Fabiani. He led the opening stages of the race but was unable to create a gap larger than a second over Matt White in second.

Towards the back of the field, Thomas Crookston spun his Porshe 944 at turn one while Hall set consecutive fastest laps of the race as he closed on the front markers. Back at the front, White dove down the inside of Fabiani and took the lead but Fabiani stayed glued to the new leader’s bumper.

On lap eight Fabiani got his nose ahead into turn one but White had the inside and was able to stay in front at the exit of the corner. As they made their way through the carousel Fabiani managed to get the inside line and retake the lead. While they fought over the lead Hall had made his way up to third and was quickly closing on the leaders.

On lap 11, Hall caught White and out dragged the Miata out of turn one and set his sights on Fabiani. On the next lap, Fabiani covered off the inside at turn one but Hall was able to accelerate quicker again and take the lead. Fabiani fought back through the carousel but was unable to stay in front. Hall won by 2.8 seconds ahead of Fabiani and White who were first and second in the Spec Miata class.

Jeremy Durst finished fourth with Robert Pellosie, Chris Huhn, and Crookston behind.

Race Two

Fabiani started the second race on pole after race one winner Hall failed to join the grid in time and started last. White started behind Fabiani but was unable to apply the same pressure he did in race one. Hall gained four positions on the opening lap and was running third and wasted no time passing Durst for second.

On lap three, White continued to struggle for pace and was passed by Huhn at turn six. On the very next lap, Hall continued his charge through the field and took the lead at the exit of turn one. Further back, Huhn ran wide twice allowing Pellosie and White by.

Hall slowly pulled away for the remainder of the race and pulled off another last-to-first race win. Fabiani won the Miata class again with Pellosie, Durst, White, and Huhn in the E30 behind.
