After showing a knack for connecting with customers on a personal level, AMP Karting staff member Eva Gregory was given a new role as Karting Member Concierge. Eva, a business marketing major at the University of North Georgia, has already hit the ground running with her mission to engage and build relationships with karting members. We chatted with Eva to talk about her goals for her new position and how working at Atlanta Motorsports Park has impacted her:

How did you join the Atlanta Motorsports Park family?

I started working at the kart track in October 2016. I moved to the area to go to school at UNG and started looking for a job. I put my resume on Snagajob.com and AMP found me!

Do you think working at AMP will help you in your professional life after college?

Absolutely! I think that making the connections and building networks with the people we have here as our members and people who come out for public karting will create great opportunities in its self.

What is your favorite thing about working at AMP?

Oh definitely the people. Our customers. If you get talking to some of the people that come out, it’s amazing. I love hearing their life stories and what they do.

Tell us more about your new position and what you hope to accomplish in the role.

Just really getting to know our members and getting more involved with them. We have some members that don’t come out very frequently and I think it would be awesome to get them more involved.

What is something you would want people to know about AMP that they might not already know?

That we have more than just racecars! We have the kart track! Not a lot of people think of karts when they think about Atlanta Motorsports Park, they just think of the race track and I think that shies a lot people away from us. Karting is a great way to get introduced to the racing world.
