Track Day at Atlanta Motorsports Park Kart Track
November 10, 2012
Atlanta Motorsports Park is opening its doors to karting nonmembers to join AMP members for a test day at the most exciting kart track in the United States.
On November 10th the kart track at AMP will be open to the first 25 karters that want to experience this amazing track. The day will start with practice sessions followed by a short race in the morning. At lunch time there will be a question and answer session with five time world karting champion Danilo Rossi. In the afternoon, the track configuration will be changed for additional practice sessions. Danilo Rossi will conduct a seminar in the afternoon followed by another race on the alternate configuration.
AMP is a member only track and is being opened to the public for the first time. Only the first 25 karters with an advance reservation will be allowed in the track for this special event. Entry fee payable to AMP will be $50. Class structure is limited to 2 cycle karts. All karts must comply with the 92db sound limit with no exceptions.
This is a great opportunity to meet a five time world karting champion and experience one of the most technical tracks in the world. With 42 feet of elevation change, high speed corners and low speed technical sections, the kart track at AMP will challenge even the most experienced driver. Only 25 reservations will be accepted, so contact us using the email link below to get your name on the list.
