Inaugural CHUMP CAR World Series Race Nov. 2013 Report

The first actual race ever held at AMP!

41 cars, originally valued at $500 or less took the green flag on Saturday for a 7 hour race on our 2-mile F-1 grade road course! At the end of day one, all cars were impounded until the next morning. When Sunday morning came around, competitors endured seven more hours coming all down to the last few laps to decide the winner!

This is what Michael from Chump Car had to say about last weekend’s event! Thanks Mike!

“If you ever have the opportunity to race at Atlanta Motorsports Park, don’t pass it up. Having organized races at more than a dozen world class tracks along the East coast, I can say that AMP is a top tier facility and one that we will be racing at for years to come. The course is extremely challenging and set in a picturesque landscape. Their entire staff was welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in making our event a success. Their commitment to technology and amenities makes them a great choice to host any type of motorsport event.”
