AMP Karting Members,

Two weeks from today is race day!  Saturday, March 9^th is our first race in the TS Racing Atlanta 2013 Racing Series at Atlanta Motorsports Park.  I hope you are planning to join the fun.  We have heard from some of you that our registration site was a little too complicated, so we have revised our form to hopefully make pre-registration a little easier for you.  Please go to the TS Racing Atlanta home page as listed below and there you will find a link to the new entry blank.  We would really appreciate it if you would take the time to pre-register.  If nothing else please reply to this e-mail with your intentions for our first race.  It will help us better prepare to serve you on race day and expedite getting you on the track.

In addition listed below and on the TS website is the race day schedule of activities.  You will see it is a jam packed day with 2 practice sessions, qualifying, a 10 lap pre-final race and a 15 lap final race all on the challenging ‘A’ track layout.  Who will climb the podium at the end of the day to claim their medal?  If this is all new to you and you have questions we have put together a program for you.  On Thursday, March 7^th at 4:30 PM TS Racing Atlanta is offering a pre-race coaching event as follows:

• Classroom Session
  • Race Day schedule review.
  • Detail the racing line and points of interest on the track map to help reduce your lap times.

• Track Walk
  • Walk the track along the racing line describing the passing lanes and braking points at each unique corner and answer any questions you may have.

• Safety Tech for Saturday’s Event
  • We will Pre-tech your kart in advance to help ease the rush on Saturday and solve any issues in advance.

• Advanced Parking for the Race Event on March 9^th.

          You will be allowed to leave your trailer/rig in prime position for the Race Event.
