Who Are We?

Hooked On Driving (HOD) is a National High Performance Driving Program, known as a high performance driving experience (HPDE), where you bring your car to the Race Track. You will learn how to drive a road course race track, learn more about your car and yourself. For the more advanced drivers a great chance to test and tune your skills with liberal passing.

We will be at Atlanta Motorsports Park July 19, 2013, where we will give drivers of performance and street cars the opportunity to drive this great new track.

We will have three run groups, A-Beginner, B-Solo Intermediate and C-Advanced/Race Prepped. This will give you five 20-25 minute sessions. We will have morning ground school for the A-Group interspersed with one on one in car/on track coaching. Lots of track time and a catered lunch is included. New for the C-Advanced run group is passing with a point by recommended but not required!

The Track
Atlanta Motorsports Park is a new two mile road course with 144′ of elevation changes located approx. 45 mins.-1 hr. north of Atlanta. It has two ‘signature’ corners designed to pay homage to famed European F1 race courses; Belgium’s Spa-Francochamps and the iconic ‘Carousel’ from Germany’s Nürburgring. Herman Tilke the designer of nearly every modern era Formula 1 track in the world, along with the Austin, TX F1 track was the track designer. AMP’s allowable decibel level is 98 db which does not effect most sports cars.
